PUSH! COME ON PUSH! not in labor, just trying to get my chores done.

Hey, bet you thought since I just became a Grandma this is about that, Nope, I’m not one to push baby pictures on everyone.

Okay, had to show him off at least once. It does sadden me that we have come to the point where we have to Low Jack a newborn baby.  20 1/2 inches of pure joy.  This, and his parents are my reasons for pushing myself to get better.
I am so proud of myself, I didn’t take the nap my body was longing for, I did all of the dishes, just have to put my legs up to bring down the swelling, then have the silverware and the two baking dishes and I am done with goal #1.
Well dinner is in the oven still have not gotten to the silverware or goal #2 of working on the quilt, but I did push myself to finish the dishes and make dinner. I even found enough staples to put together brownies of sorts. just need to push a little while longer, but this headache is quickly becoming a migraine and I still don’t have any of my medicine I do need, 3 months and the migraine is stronger without Lidoderm patches. Dinner bell just went off.  Tomorrow my friends.

  1. Excellent ! You certainly are pushing forward.
You are going for it, getting things done
( even though your body is aching)

I also pushed myself yesterday. I left my home and went to a friends house who had invited me round for dinner.

On the way there, my usual anxiety attack and symptoms.
But on the way back…..felt glad I went…first step taken….and survived.

We CAN do this ! xxx xxx xxx

    1. I am so proud of you! You are way ahead of me, I don’t have any friends that would be willing to pick me up since I can’t see to drive, in high school I was the one with the car and money, now no car no money and no friends. lo,l I don’t really mind being alone, I just hate not having the strength to get out on my own. But, your right, we survived. Congratulations to Us!

      1. Here in California 10 minutes could take up to 3 hours due to traffic, almost wish we were back in the horse and buggy days. I have always wanted to see England, my life long dream, but the country, I’m not a city girl. I came from a small, one traffic-light town, less than 2,000 people.
